World Water Monitoring Day: September 18 – October 18

World Water Monitoring Day (WWMD) is an international outreach program that builds public awareness and involvement in protecting water resources around the world by engaging citizens in basic water quality monitoring. WWMD is officially observed on September 18, but the monitoring period extends to October 18. To learn how you can get involved in this global  effort, visit www.WorldWaterMonitoringDay.org.
