Observer 2008: Issue 3 - Going Green: Energizing EE...Plugging into EE

To help energize environmental education for our members, this issue of the Observer offers a many great articles to inspire both educators and students to ‘plug into’ environmental education.  Articles range from a classroom teacher’s experience in successfully incorporating lessons learned at the MEES Conference into her classroom to an outdoor educator who encourages children and parents to get outdoors and explore.  We’ve included informative articles about programs such as the Envirothon and StoryWalks that you can use to help your students, whether young or old, plug into EE.  In addition to these featured articles, we’ve included several timely resources, reviews, and professional development, grant, and funding opportunities.  Enjoy!
